Egypt's Dar Al-Ifta welcomed a distinguished delegation from the Muhammadiyah Association of Singapore, where Dr. Ibrahim Negm, Secretary-General of the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide, emphasized the critical role of the Secretariat as a global platform representing 111 fatwa institutions.

Dr. Negm outlined the Secretariat's mission to coordinate efforts among fatwa bodies to address intellectual challenges and contemporary issues. He stressed the importance of fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and a unified approach to fatwa practices globally to better serve Muslim communities. Furthermore, Dr. Negm highlighted ongoing efforts to develop joint programs and create sustainable communication platforms that empower muftis to approach modern challenges with a balanced and well-informed legal perspective.
